Busy, busy, busy!
Hello from CAP Columbia!
Yesterday students and staff took a break from their daily routine at Columbia University filled with mornings of Princeton Review Test Prep, afternoons with both an essay writing workshop and individual college counseling sessions, and finally attending an evening college counseling group workshop.
On Wednesday morning we loaded onto a bus to visit both Princeton University (New Jersey) and Villanova University (Pennsylvania). On both campus' students participated in an information session and a campus tour. We were all wiped out on the ride home, but several students were able to find some energy last evening to head into Times Square with Steph and Julian, their fabulous RAs. Please enjoy a few photos of our visits to Princeton and Villanova.

Welcome to the CAP-Columbia Session 1 News & Updates Page!
We hope you’re excited to get a jump on the college application process this summer at CAP Columbia. From now through the summer, this page will be a key resource to keep you updated on what to do to prepare and what’s going on at the program.
Before you go, we’ll be posting details like your mailing address, program phone number, driving directions, etc. Be sure to subscribe to ‘News & Updates’ now so as not to miss any pre-program details.
Once the program begins, your program director and senior staff will post updates and photos of what you and your new friends are up to. Encourage grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends to subscribe before the summer so that they can see all up to at Columbia.
Look for a new post each week. Keep working to complete your pre-program forms and don’t forget to visit the ‘Forms Download’ section within MyASA to get a packing list, the pre-program handbook, and other important materials.
